Day 61, La Posa West LTVA, Quartzsite, AZ, Day 12

I decided to make biscuits for breakfast. It is a silly meal since there is only one of me & the smallest recipe I have makes a dozen, It also make for lots of cleanup, and since I do my best to limit water usage to avoid too many trips to La Posa South & the dump/water fill stations, not all that practical. Plus, it is either me or my recipe, but they never come out as the fluffy biscuits I get at a decent restaurant.

Around noon I went to get a haircut, do laundry & a shower. Amazon sent me a notice that one of my orders was delivered to Quiet Times, so the fiddling with the address so no PO Box number showed seems to work. It was delivered to the post office, so it cost $5.00 to pick up. I do wish there was a way to force Amazon to use UPS since it would be cheaper, at least at Quiet Times. It was 50 aluminum drip trays for the Weber Grill. I suspect it will be a long time before I run out!

After that I did some on line & an actual book reading - finished John Grisham's The Chamber, an older (1994) novel that I somehow missed. I know I didn't read it, but it seems like the story was done in one of his newer novels.

Around 3:45 I headed to Sweet Darlene's for the Friday All-You-Can-Eat Fish Fry. It starts at 4:00 & I like to get there early before they run out of baked potatoes. I'm stuffed!

Until Next Time -
