A short drive. I planned to stop for the night in the Humboldt Redwood State Park at the Albee Creek Campground, but found that it doesn't open until early May. So, I'm in the Burlington Campground. Still impressive, however a bit more traffic with the Avenue of the Giants road on one side and US 101 on the other. The Redwoods are impressive. While I took a bunch of photos, they really don't show the size of them.
More photos on today's LakeshoreImages page.

By the way, a surprisingly fast Verizon 4G LTE signal here in the campground. While it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, the internet is close by.

Dinner will be a chicken thigh & peaches.

  1. Being surrounded by those trees must make you feel so humble, tiny.
