| Crack in the Mountain Trail |
No hikes today. I spent most of it relaxing around the campground. I never even picked up the camera since I didn't see much to shoot, so I used another photo form yesterday's hike through the slot canyon.
I did get to meet a couple of new neighbors - the sites on either side emptied in the morning, and filled in the afternoon. While there are 8 empty sites in the campground as of 6:00PM, 4 of them are next to a huge (and somewhat loud) party site that has a couple of trailers getting together to celebrate the New Year. They are far enough away from my site that I can't hear them, but unless I was part of the party, I wouldn't want to be camped next to them!
Dinner was the rest of the left over stew. as usual, it was better as left overs than the day I made it. Both stew & soup always seem to be that way.
