Day 93, Monday, January 19, 2026 - La Paz County Park, Parker, AZ, Day 51 - 0 Miles, 3,449.7 Miles for the Trip
49°F overnight, 69°F by noon; the high for the day was 75°F.
Rather than my usual morning walk I waited for the pump out truck. It arrived at 8:30 so now my tanks are empty. I'll visit the dump station on my way out of the park on February 1.
I sat outside watching the hummingbirds feed and decided to take a few photos:
I headed to Walmart around lunchtime to pick up something to wash the solar panels. They were pretty dusty and a couple of bird splatters.
I decided to put the solar panels flat. They had a 2" tilt with the front lower so that rain water would run off, but flat works better if the panels are not tilted towards the south. Here they are aimed west so they were in the opposite of a good direction. When I get to Quartzsite I'll park the trailer with the back to the south and use my tilting arms to get more output.
I picked up a sponge on an extendable stick to wash the panels. It gave me about 28 watts more output once they were flat & clean.
Dinner was a Kevin's Parmesan Basil Chicken Bowl.
Until Next Time -
