2025-26 Trip to the Southwest, Day 92

Day 92, Sunday, January 18, 2026 - La Paz County Park, Parker, AZ, Day 50 - 0 Miles, 3,449.7 Miles for the Trip

50°F overnight, 53°F for my morning walk. 74°F by noon; the high for the day was 75°F.

I spent a little extra time in bed listening to the Sunday morning puzzle on NPR's Weekend Edition before my walk.

A quiet morning, not too many muffler-less "go fast" boats roaring on the river. While a couple of trailers left, the park is still pretty full, including the group sites that I was kicked out of. Still an open site (#5) that has been open for a week or so.

As usual, I spent the morning reading. I finished Alan Bradley's What Time the Sexton's Spade Doth Rust, and started Moonflower Murders by Anthony Horowitz.

One of the hosts for the park is also has a mobile RV repair service. Lorraine's refrigerator stopped working yesterday. She put some bagged ice in it and this morning made an appointment to have it looked at. It appears that the flue was dirty & knocking some of the stuff out of it started the refrigerator back up. He will be coming back to do a thorough cleaning.

Dinner was a Healthy Choice Sweet & Sour Chicken Steamer Bowl.

Until Next Time -
