Day 86, Monday, January 12, 2026 - La Paz County Park, Parker, AZ, Day 44 - 0 Miles, 3,449.7 Miles for the Trip
Down to 49°F overnight & 52°F for my morning walk. Bright sun for the walk, but light clouds moved in for the late afternoon. A high for the day of 70°F.
After breakfast I read for a bit. Finished Alan Bradley's Golden Tresses of the Dead, and started Nick Russell's Big Lake Parolee. Not the greatest writing in the world, but OK stories, the books are free on my Kindle, and the author is a fellow RVer.
Around lunch time I headed to the Kofa Laundromat. More crowded than last time; I even had to wait 5 minutes for a pair of driers. After folding the clothes (no wait for a table) I headed to Food City to see if I could pick up a box of Tapioca Beads. So far I haven't found them in any of the local grocery stores. I use them in my blueberry pies, and while I have enough for one more pie, I'd like to get more. I may have to wait until I hit Lake Havasu City.
After putting the clothes away I did some more reading, fired up the water heater, did a load of dishes & refilled the hummingbird feeder.
Dinner was Cholula's Salsa Verde Chicken Bowl.
Until Next Time -
