Time to start packing for a 2 week trip. On Tuesday, September 3rd, the Guidos & I will start to the Algonac rally, held this year at Lakeport State Park because the Algonac State Park is closed for renovations. We will make a one night stop at the Long Beach Conservation Area in Wainfleet, Ontario which is about half way to the Lakeport State Park (and home of Bolerama which we attended in July).
After the Algonac/Lakeport rally we will head to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls with a one day stop at the Dalewood Conservation area. In Niagara Falls we will attend the Niagara Wine Escape rally.
As usual, the Guidos will overnight in my driveway on Monday so we can leave together on Tuesday. We would usually be attending Guido's brother Pete's Labor Day picnic, but the Guidos only had Sunday to pack up the trailer since they were attending a wedding the days before.
The Guidos arrived around 5:30 and hooked up their trailer. We went to Rudy's for dinner, but with a cool breeze blowing off the lake we brought everything home & ate at the house. I had a shrimp dinner.
