2024-25 Trip to the Southeast, Day 178

Day 178, Tuesday, April 15, 2025, Home, Oswego, NY - 270.8 Miles, 5,417 Miles for the Trip

A big change from the plan. I listened to my home town NPR station and there is a Winter Advisory for tomorrow with 3" - 7" of snow predicted. I really don't want to tow in the snow or on snowy pavement so I decided to skip an overnight at the Guido's in Binghamton and motor on to home. It makes a long drive (in fact, the longest of the trip) but I've done it before.

It ended up a longer drive than expected, not in miles, but in time. Over an hour and a half spent on I 81 driving 10 miles at the breakneck speed between 0 & 10 MPH. A couple other short stop & gos, mostly for construction.

I got home around 4:00, and unpacked the essentials. I'll wait until tomorrow to finish unpacking.

Dinner was my usual homecoming meal - a trip to Rudy's (a local fish stand) for a shrimp dinner.

The next planned trip is to the Spring Fling in New Hampshire in mid May.

Until Then -
