Day 168, Saturday, April 5, 2025, Smith Mountain Lake State Park, Huddleston, VA, Day 6 - 0 Miles, 4,732 Miles for the Trip
Not quite as warm as Thursday night, going down to 67°F. It warmed up quickly, hitting 85°F by late afternoon.
After breakfast I changed the sheets on the bed, gathered up the laundry, and headed to the Smith Mountain Laundromat in Moneta, about 7 miles from the campground. Fairly empty for a Saturday. They have double load front loaders for $4.00 & dryers that don't show the time but I guess it is about 6 minutes per quarter.
On the way back I stopped at a Food Lion across the street from the laundromat & picked up a few items.
At the trailer I sat outside. Ran the awning out for one of the few times during the trip, but I needed the shade to sit outside. I also fired up the AC since it was 80°F in the trailer. I sat outside and read.
Around 4:30 I trimmed my beard and headed for a shower. This time the only one available was the disabled one with the two shower heads (one standard and the other on a flexible hose). Other than two shower heads, the same as 2 days ago.
After that I headed in to the trailer to make dinner. After dinner I sat outside for a bit. Since it is suppose to rain both tomorrow and Monday, I put away my large mat & grill.
Dinner was a Scott & Jon's Shrimp Scampi Bowl.
Until Next Time -
