2024-25 Trip to the Southeast, Day 152

Day 152, Thursday, March 20, 2025, Fort Yargo State Park, Winder, GA, Day 4 - 0 Miles, 4,274.6 Miles for the Trip

A warm night, only dropping to 54°F by morning, but it never got much warmer.

Sure glad I checked my prescriptions. I received the usual text, email, and phone call that my prescriptions were ready. None of them said where, but since I ordered them on the webpage for Winder, and set my pharmacy for the Winder Walgreens, I figured that that is where they were going to end up.

Nope - they are ready for pick up in Milton, FL. The only reason I caught the mistake is because I got a notice that one of the prescriptions was a last fill & to contact the Milton FL Walgreens to have them contact my doctor to get new scripts.

I called the Winder Walgreens, talked to the pharmacy department & they said it happens more often than they would like, particularly for those that travel & switch between different Walgreen locations and use the on line ordering system. A bunch of key clicks on her end and they will be ready in Winder this afternoon.

Around 11:00 I received a message that one of my medications was out of stock and 2 were too early to fill (one of which is also listed as ready for pick up)? I think I'll wait until tomorrow to see if the out of stock medicine arrives.

Two of my neighbors moved out this morning, including the Class A that was being used as a toad. I watched the other one pull in last night & it made me appreciate traveling solo. The woman danced, waved, and shouted as her other half backed the trailer into the site. I could not figure out what she was doing, (and apparently neither could the driver) since it didn't seem to help backing - he got out of the truck every couple of feet to check. Three kids and a big dog in a single axle trailer a little bigger than my 21.

A cool day with the noon temperature at 55°F. The predicted overnight temperature is 34°F. Not a lot of folks sitting outside since along with temperatures in the mid 50's, there is a strong breeze. By dinner time it was down to 50°F.

Dinner was a Scott & Jon's Shrimp Alfredo Bowl.

Until Next Time -
