Day 141, Sunday, March 9, 2025, High Falls State Park, Jackson, GA, Day 4 - 0 Miles, 4,201.4 Miles for the Trip
Another warm night going down to the mid 50's. It actually got cooler as the day went on, down to 51°F at 2:30. All my Apple products recognized the Daylight Savings Time change, as did my 2 Szfzmz indoor/outdoor thermometers. My F 150, microwave, & Kindle didn't, so I had to set them by hand.
My prescriptions were ready so I headed to the McDonough Walgreens. As long as I was there, I got the CDC recommended Covid 19 shot. Stopped at Walmart on the way home & found an Impossible Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, another favorite frozen meal that I can rarely find. Stopped for gas on the way back at Loves $2.79 per gallon with a $.10 per gallon discount using their app. Rain going both ways, light to heavy. Back at the trailer there is light rain.
I used the Covid shot, rain, and an hour less sleep last night as an excuse for a rare afternoon nap.
The nap didn't work, so I got up and microwaved a bag of popcorn. Still raining and I watched a new arrival next door set up in the rain. So far on the trip I've managed to miss setting up or breaking down in the rain. Talked with my son Kyle & things at work should slow down a bit since the hockey season is over. Most of the snow has melted from the roof so neither of us is worried about needing to shovel. Still lots of snow on the ground. The Guidos are visiting great grand kids in Michigan. Brother David is hanging out in the Catskills, and daughter Karin & family are doing the same in Takoma Park.
Dinner was a P. F. Chang's Chicken Teriyaki Bowl.
Until Next Time -
