Last Night's Sunset |
Another non interstate drive, mostly on US 2 and MI 69. For some reason, although we were only going a few miles an hour faster than yesterday, my mileage dropped quite a bit to 12.4 MPG. Overall for the trip is 13 MPG, so I can't complain. We hit Central Time, and pulled into Lake Gogebic State Park around 3:30. The time zone change goes through the middle of the lake, so I'm not sure what time it is right now.
No reservations, but they found us two next door sites for 2 nights - Sites 81 & 83. I'm in 83, a fairly level side to side that could have been a pull through since no one was in the site behind it, but I backed in, getting some practice for this trip. The site isn't level enough to leave the trailer hooked up, but that gives us an excise to go somewhere tomorrow.
There was an OK sunset over the lake last night, so I included a start & finish image. Other than that, all I have are the site photos. More photos and today's site pictures at today's LakeshoreImages page.
Dinner was Cheese Brats & Bush Bourbon & Brown Sugar beans.
Until Tomorrow -
