Day 56, La Posa West LTVA, Quartzsite, AZ, Day 7

A little cooler overnight, but a clear morning & day. Lots of wind - a peak of 17MPH, and enough of it throughout the day that the mountains in the distance almost disappeared. When you can't see them, you know you will be chewing grit during the evening.

I spent the day reading - current book is The Disappeared (A Joe Pickett Novel) by C. J. Box. I read all the Joe Pickett series, but somehow I missed this one. At least it was old enough that I didn't need to put it on the "hold" list at the library.

Since it is Sunday, I decided to make a somewhat fancier than normal dinner. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes & mixed vegetables with a glass of Silk & Spice wine.
