Thursday, February 15, 2018 - SARA Park Rodeo Grounds, Lake Havasu City, AZ, Day 4, 0 Miles, 4,177.3 Towing Miles For the Trip
Another day without photographs. Until they start the fireworks, there really isn't all that much to take photos of. It looks like there is a RC flying area in the park since I've seem a couple of stunt planes flying each day, but they are far enough away that they are not worth photographing.
Another relaxing day. The sun came out, so the solar fully recharged the batteries even though I microwaved breakfast & made a pot of drip coffee. I lent out my portable solar panel to the Bigfoot next door since it looked like his solar panel wasn't working. He went to Quartzsite for a new controller, and while my panel charged his trailer a bit while he was gone, my controller doesn't seem to be working right. Since I don't use it when connecting the panel to my trailer, I have never noticed the problem. I'll probably order a new controller since I like to have the portable panel available to operate with or without a controller.
After my 3:00 eye drops, I started a chicken stew/soup. Hard to decide which it is, but I make it with lots of vegetables, potatoes, canned beans, chicken thighs, & chicken stock. I make enough for one meal plus 2 for the freezer.
Other than that, I spent the day sitting outside reading.
Dinner was chicken stew!
Until tomorrow -
