It stayed warm overnight - only down to 60°F by morning. I didn't get up until 9:00; still getting used to daylight savings time. After a walk around the campground, I made breakfast, coffee, and read for about an hour.
After that I decided to hit one of the trails that climbs the mountains behind the campground. A great view from about 3/4 of the way up. You are allowed to take up to 10 pounds of rock from the mountain. There are geodes, semi precious stones, etc, but I didn't find any. I did pick up a couple of pretty rocks, including one large one that will go on my TV table at home along with my other "finds" on my travels. I took lots of photos of the flowers along the way, as well as a large panorama from near the top. More photos at today's LakeshoreImages page.
After getting back to the trailer I finished a J. A. Jance novel - Desert Heat, the first Joanna Brady book. I keep thinking I've read all of her novels, but keep finding ones that are not on my list.
After that I hit the showers. Not too bad for a non adjustable, push button shower. Plenty of hooks, a bench & a shower curtain.
Dinner was a Milford Valley Chicken with Broccoli & Cheese thing and steamed asparagus. The chicken things are pretty good, but since they start with raw chicken, they must be baked so I only make them when I have hookups for the toaster oven.
Until Tomorrow -
I like Jance's writing style also. Another interesting southwest novel is called "Bad Country" by CB McKenzie. It won the Tony Hillerman prize.
