Tuesday, December 20, 2016, La Posa West, Quartzsite, AZ, Day 3, 0 Miles, 3,855.7 Miles For the Trip
Another relaxing day at Quartzsite! I didn't start my walk to coffee until almost 9:00AM. Still cool enough to wear a insulated vest & gloves, but a bit warmer than yesterday. After breakfast & did my usual reading of forums & blogs, then hopped in the truck for a run to one of the entrance stations to trade some books, and into town to buy a pound of ground chuck to use to make tacos for dinner.
The rest of the afternoon was sitting out in the sun and reading. It is a cool, hazy sun with thin clouds, enough that the solar panels didn't put back what I used overnight & this morning. As of 4:00, I'm down by around 12 amp hours from full.
As I mentioned in yesterday's post, things will get a bit boring, but I do enjoy reading, and there isn't a whole lot else to do, at least here in the LTVA. No pictures today.
As expected, dinner will be ground beef tacos with all kinds of vegetables & the rest of the refried beans, washed down with an Alaskan White beer.
Until Tomorrow -
No worried about boring. Very interested in the day-to-day at Quartzite and Escape living. Enjoying the blog.
ReplyDeleteJust the words "Alaskan White Beer" are interesting. Merry Christmas, Jon.
