Day 73, Monday, October 16, 2017 - Emigrant Lake County Park, Ashland, OR, Day 5

Reflections on the Lake
Monday, October 16, 2017 - Emigrant Lake County Park, Ashland, OR, Day 5, 0 Miles, 1,571.6 Towing Miles For the Trip

I had an early 9:00 appointment to have a pressure & visual field test this morning. I was very impressed with the staff & doctor at Siskiyou Eye Center. They even accepted my Medicare for the exam & test, something that the Arizona eye doctor in Parker didn't do - the Parker eye center got paid by both me & Medicare...

I won't find out how the field test went until I hear from my Oswego doctor, but the pressure was good.

Back at the trailer I spent the day much like yesterday - outside reading & enjoying the sunshine. Towards the end of the day I couldn't resist digging out the camera to capture the great afternoon color. The wind is calm enough that there were even reflections on the lake. Nothing exciting about the photos, but I did like the light!

Quite a few empty sites in the campground. There are even a couple that don't have any reservations on the posts - you could stay for 2 weeks in one of them. As long as I had the camera out, I took a photo of the Casita next door, which you can find on today's LakeshoreImages page.

For dinner, I dug out the last frozen package of the stew I made a month ago. Tasted great!

Until Tomorrow -
