Friday, January 25 , 2019 - La Posa West, Quartzsite, AZ, Day 49 - 0 Miles, 8,082.2 Miles for the Trip
I did laundry today. Crowded, with a short wait for washing machines, but no wait for a pair of dryers. Unfortunately, I couldn't take my usual shower while the dryers were running - there was a sign stating showers closed. I asked, and they said they would be open in an hour or so. After folding my clothes, I drove across the street for a haircut, then back to the laundromat. The showers were still closed, and since I had a head & neck filled with pieces of hair, I took one in the trailer. I hate to do that while dry camping for weeks at a time, but since I'm planning on moving to Dome Rock on Sunday or Monday and the fresh water tank is at 2/3s & the same for the gray, a short shower didn't change either, and I'll be dumping when I move.
It sounds like the government shut down will go away for at least a couple of weeks. Not sure when they will start charging for the LTVA campground, but since I've already been there through 2 unpaid 2 week cycles, I'm willing to pay for the next couple of days (or even pay for the previous cycles since it works out to $2.86 per day) & the ability to dump & fill the fresh water tank before I head to Dome Rock.
Dinner was barbecued ribs & potato salad.
Until Tomorrow -
