A very wet night & day. Over 1" of rain. While there is a flood watch on for the area, the washes in the campground are mostly dry, with puddles all over. The sand & gravel surface can get you - step in the wrong place and you sink in one to two inches into mud that was like rock when dry. Hard to tell by looking which is solid gravel and which is a mud pot. I didn't go for my walk this morning, the fisrt time since getting to Quartzsite. I don't mind walking in snow, but don't like walking in the rain.

Not much time outside, although a group of us got together and chatted during one of the brief "dry" spells. Very little solar charging during the day - I went from -24 amp hours this morning to -21 at 3:00. At least I got lots of reading in!

Dinner will be a baked chicken quarter (maybe grilled if the rain lets up) and steamed vegetables.
