A Very Fuzzy Blood Moon |
Well, I went out last night, and it was so cloudy I could barely see the moon. Fairly long exposures let me get a couple of photos, but very fuzzy ones due to the clouds. You can see two more at today's LakeshoreImages page.
Of course it was nice & clear during the day today, although windy - it hit 29MPH on my gauge. Enough that by late afternoon the mountains in the distance disappeared due to the dust.
A few more RV's left, but a few more arrived. Still fairly crowded, although I went over to the Big Tent to buy a folding water bucket, and it didn't seem as crowded as last year.
After lunch, I got a call from Rite Aid that the last of my eye drops came in, so I made a run to Blythe. Of course, since I was next door to a large grocery store, I also spent $80.00 on groceries (still cheaper than the co pay on the eye drops)!
Fairly heavy traffic on I 10, so the drive back took longer than usual, particularly the part of the drive that went by the tent. By the time I put everything away, it was time for dinner, which was a turkey wrap & some cottage cheese.
Until Tomorrow -
