Day 176, Sunday, April 13, 2025, Pine Grove Furnace State Park, Bendersville, PA, Day 4 - 0 Miles, 5,068.9 Miles for the Trip
Light rain started around 6:30 last night, stopping around midnight. There was a bit of sun this morning!
I did manage to hold an internet connection to WUOT with the Starlink Mini long enough to hear the Sunday Weekend Edition puzzle, but It dropped the station soon after and I went back to the local classical FM station. It is Washington DC WETA simulcast on WGMS 89.1 in Hagerstown, Maryland. While I prefer the classical stations that include the hourly news update, this is the only NPR station I can get here at the park.
A little sunshine during my morning walk; as usual. lots of folks moved out this morning but the powered sites are still about 1/2 filled. 45°F during my walk, 46°F at 11:00AM. Partly cloudy throughout the morning with more clouds than sun, but it is nice to see it when it breaks through.

The Home Built Trailer Next Door |
It isn't going to warm up to the predicted 60°F; 52°F at 2:30. I took a photo of the neighbor's home built trailer. His van is painted to match the trailer, but wasn't here at the time I took the picture.
I spent most of the day inside reading. Current book is #2 of Dana Stabenow's Kate Shugak series, A Fatal Flaw. Bored enough that I microwaved a bag of popcorn and ate the whole thing.
Enough RVs arrived this afternoon that they more than replaced those that left this morning. Most are travel trailers, but there is a large class A that pulled into the next site up from me.
It never got warm enough for me to head for a shower. High for the day was 54°F.
Dinner was a Healthy Choice Cafe Steamer Chicken Alfredo bowl.
Until Next Time -
