Day 98, Sunday, February 5, 2017, Dome Rock, Quartzsite, AZ, Day 5

Getting Together
Sunday, February 5, 2017, Dome Rock, Quartzsite, AZ, Day 5, 0 Miles, 4,003.9 Miles For the Trip

No dogs chasing me on my walk this morning, although I do admit to staying away from the Doberman's camping area. After breakfast & forum/blog reading, I headed to the laundromat to do a couple of loads, and see if I could help Mel with a problem with the wiring on his Toyota Class C. No luck with the wiring, but he did give me the rest of the firewood I left with him when I moved over to Dome Rock.

The laundromat was just about as full as I've ever seen it. Only 2 standard washing machines available, and no dryers. It must have been the time, because by the time my wash was done, there were plenty of each open. I met & chatted with a guy form the Yukon that has been driving the Alaskan Highway every year for the last 20 years. He has noticed some improvements!

Back at the campground I sat outside reading for much of the afternoon. Because clouds moved in, I was able to put a coat of wax on the south side of the trailer. I did the other side yesterday.

After that I took a walk throughout the camping area to photograph some of the new people & their trailers. More photos at today's LakeshoreImages page.

Dinner was Spaghetti & Alfredo sauce with meatballs.

Until Tomorrow -
