Saturday, March 30, 2019 - Pin Oak Campground, Natchez Trace SP, TN, Day 6 - 0 Miles, 10,394.1 Miles for the Trip
A warm night & morning. Every time I try sitting outside, it starts to sprinkle, so I'm sitting in the trailer. Lots of reading, both on line and the Kindle. I took a couple of walks around the campground, and spent a bit talking with a truck camper owner about Quartzsite, and some of the places we've both stayed in Arizona & Utah. The campground is near full.
Other than that, it was a quiet day. Little sun, and predicted thunderstorms. My weather radar app shows them going by to the north; I hope they stay that way.
I made one last walk around a new section of the campground & it started to rain just as I got back to the trailer. Sat inside reading, trying to decide whether to eat here or try the restaurant at the lodge. Since the rain stopped, I decided to cook a Hillshire Cheddarwurst for dinner. Of course a light rain started as soon as I put it on the grill. Luckily, it stayed light until the brat was done. While eating it with a salad, the heaviest rain of the trip started! It only lasted for about 30 minutes before it dropped back to a drizzle.
Until Tomorrow -
