Not New Mexico - Leadville, CO |
I'm glad I did my loop around the campground loop a little after 8:30 this morning. Only 5-6 MPH winds. By 11:00 they picked up. I can now prove that an Escape 21 can survive a day with average wind speed of 34 MPH, and peaks of 38 MPH. The trailer does a lot of rocking, and if it doesn't quit by 8:0PM as scheduled, I'll probably get seasick trying to sleep.
Needless to say, I didn't do much outside. Last night was another warmer than usual night at 44°F, and it made it up to 65°F this afternoon. The prediction is 30°F tonight!
Dick & Anne, friends that live in Golden & Leadville, Colorado sent me a couple of photos from outside their house in Leadville. Looks like it will be awhile before Spring! One more photo at today's LakeshoreImages page.
Dinner was a Barber Stuffed Chicken Breast & applesauce.
Until Tomorrow -
