Wednesday, March 19, 2014, Valley of Fire State Park, NV, Day 10 - 0 miles , 6011.9 For the Trip
Another quiet day. I started the crock pot with the beans, sausage, and many vegetables around 9:30 on high for an hour (it was outside on the picnic table & it was 50°F out) then switched to low around 11:00. Gave it a stir every couple of hours, and it looks to be done at 4:30.
While waiting, I got out the camera with the 70-200mm lens & took some wildlife photos. Mostly hummingbirds, but a few ground squirrels (or are they chipmunks?) More photos at today's LakeshoreImages page.
Dinner is pretty obvious!
