Sunday, March 30, 2014, Quail Creek State Park, UT, Day 7 - 0 miles , 6114.6 For the Trip
I started yesterday's post with "It's warming up", so, of course, today had to be different. Never got above 65°F, and very windy - white caps and flying spray on the lake. At 3:00PM it is in the 50's.
I spent the morning reading the Sunday paper, doing Jumble, the comics, etc. Tried sitting outside to read, but too windy & cold, so it was back in the trailer. I made a short run to Walmart for milk & ice cream, and a couple of bananas, then came back to the campground. Many trailers have moved out, and a few new ones in. There is a 24' Argosy, a white version of an Airstream that at first glance, looks like a fiberglass trailer, but isn't.
I started packing for leaving tomorrow - took down the hummingbird feeder, put the extension mirrors back on the RAV, etc. I'm not sure how far I'll get tomorrow; I don't need to be at Champoeg State park in Oregon until the 23rd, so I have plenty of time. No photos today.
Dinner will be a Bison burger & snap peas.
Until tomorrow -
