Tuesday, January 23, 2018 - La Posa West LTVA, Quartzsite, AZ, Day 65, 0 Miles, 3,746.2 Towing Miles For the Trip
Same overnight temperature as yesterday, but much warmer during the day. I made the usual walk for coffee, and read blogs & forums during breakfast. I talked awhile with Linda & her son Michael, then we headed over to the big tent. They were looking for the rechargeable keychain light I picked up yesterday. It took me a couple of tries to find the booth, and when I did the price had gone up, from $20.00 to $25.00. Linda offered to buy 2 for $40.00, but no go. Evidently, they have been a popular item, and he said he raised the price because of supply & demand. Since they are $30.00 at Amazon, he will probably get away with the higher price.
Not much in the way of Swag. I picked up a Honda hat, the only hat giveaway I've seen at the show, and a enamel mug at Progressive.
Back at the trailer, I did some more reading, then headed to town to buy milk. Of course that turned into $45.00 worth of groceries, but at least the traffic was fine.
Dinner was a couple of grilled cheese & almond butter sandwiches, along with some Cape Cod chips & half a tray of strawberries. The strawberries were OK, but nothing like the early summer Oswego berries. Oswego berries are sweet & juicy, the best I've ever had.
Until Tomorrow -
