Day 68, Thursday, December 25, 2025 - La Paz County Park, Parker, AZ, Day 26 - 0 Miles, 3,449.7 Miles for the Trip
Merry Christmas!
Another warm night - only down to 70°F throughout most of the night, then cooling to 55°F during the early morning. 58°F for my morning walk. Lots of puddles left over from yesterday & last night's rain. Bright sun but partially cloudy most of the day. It hit 76°F by 3:00. You have to be careful where you walk. What was solid gravel yesterday before the rain now is a thin layer of gravel over 3" of soft mud.
I Facetimed with Karin & family and opened presents together. I also Facetimed with the Guido during their visit to family in Michigan. My brother David is in Connecticut visiting with friends. The saga of the upstairs thermostat continues at home. The repair folks installed a mechanical thermostat that didn't require the "C" wire but we still have an intermittent problem with it shutting off. I suspect one of the multiple transformers is bad, or the replscement zone valve, but who knows. Kyle will talk to them tomorrow.

Around 3:30 I headed to the pavilion with my pies, plate & utensils for the pot luck. Lots of people and lots of food. While it looks a little empty in the photos, there was a full house by the time they started to serve.
The pot luck was dinner.
Until Next Time -
