Day 8, October 26, 2025, Burson Campground, Hungry Mother State Park, Marion VA, Day 5 - 0 Miles, 716.5 Miles for the Trip
A little warmer last night, only going down to 44°F and 55°F by 1:30.
I changed the sheets on the bed, and since the laundry is just a few steps from my site I did two loads. Two washers & two dryers, $1.50 to wash or dry. While my laundry was drying I walked around a somewhat empty campground. Lots of folks left today, more are leaving tomorrow, and a few are staying on until later in the week.

I started packing up for leaving tomorrow. I pulled my outdoor mat to let it dry (we had a very small bit of rain this morning) and put away my sign & hummingbird lights.
We sat around chatting with some of the remaining fiberglass RVers, then made dinner.
Dinner was left over ribs, farro, and peaches.
