2025-26 Trip to the Southwest, Day 11

Day 11, October 29, 2025, Panther Creek State Park, Morristown, TN, Day 3 - 0 Miles, 843.9 Miles for the Trip

Another 48°F night, 50°F at 11:00 as a light rain started. At least it held off until after my morning walk.

After breakfast I did some reading. Current book on the Kindle is Ngaio Marsh's False Scent, Inspector Alleyn #21. I'm listening to Allen Eskens' The Deep Dark Descending audio book during my walks as well as when I hit the road tomorrow.

Rain off & on all afternoon. More reading but not much else going on. I did get a neighbor - a stick built 32' or so Forest River Hemisphere.

Around 2:00 the sun peaked through any portions of blue sky appeared. Still enough clouds that light rain fell off & on. By 2:45 the steady rain, sometimes heavy was back. With all the rain I got a lot of reading in. I finished False Scent and started Alleyn # 22, Hand In Glove. Still raining off & on.

Dinner was a Saffron Road Chicken Tikka Masala.
