| Some of Us Are Still Here |
While the rally ended last night, many are staying for up to a week here at Dome Rock. I packed up much of the trailer & will head to Lake Havasu City tomorrow. While on line with my bank I discovered I have already received my income tax refund check.
I did a load of laundry paid $40.00 for two weeks at the LTVA (I'll probably dump twice - it would still be cheaper to go to the Pit Stop in town, but buying a 2 week ticket will remove some of my guilt for the not paying for the 4 weeks of the government shutdown), and changed the sheets on the bed. Other than that, not much accomplished for the day. I did take a few photos of the departing trailers, a few can be seen at today's LakeshoreImages page.
Dinner was fried chicken & potato salad from the General Store. The chicken was OK (Better than Churches) but the potato salad needed work.

We went to Lake Havasu 30 years ago, and it was a relatively small town. I cannot imagine what it must be now.
