Saturday, November 5, 2016 - Hungry Mother State Park, Marion, VA, Day 4 - 0 Miles, 706.2 Miles For the Trip
Another cool night - there was frost on the grass & steam/fog coming off the lake when I went for my walk this morning at 9:00.
After breakfast I talked with some of the fellow fiberglass trailer owners, then headed to Food City to buy the supplies for making a blueberry pie. Since they had blueberries on sale, I was able to make the pie with fresh rather than frozen berries. The pie was done around 3:00; I spend most of the day sitting in the sun (it warmed up to a comfortable 70°F) reading & watching the pie cook.
While it wasn't there for the pot luck, many of those still here managed to stop by for a piece of pie - it was all gone by 8:00. No photos today.
Since I had the toaster oven set up on the picnic table, I cooked a pot pie for dinner.
