The Red Rocks the Park is Named For |
We all slept in this morning. A cool night with the outside temperature getting down to 51°F. It still stayed above 59°F in the trailer so the furnace didn't come on.
Eventually we got started for the day. The plan was to do some shopping for food, beer, and new hooks for Don's trailer chains. Eventually, we found all of it and headed back to the campground by 3:00 or so. I took a couple of photos of the red rocks the park is named for, and one of a formation east of the campground. I used the D800 for the formation picture since it had my 70 - 200mm lens mounted. When I downloaded the photos, I discovered a few from Monument Valley that I forgot to download, so I'm adding a couple to today's LakeshoreImages page.
That was about it for the day. I'm back to reading on the Kindle, and downloaded a couple of new books. I spent most of the rest of the afternoon reading, sitting out in the sun. Still a bit chilly, but OK in the sunshine.
Dinner was shrimp Alfredo & fruit cocktail, with oatmeal cookies for dessert.
Until Tomorrow -
