The Moon, Mountains, and Campground |
The walk for coffee this morning was rewarding - free coffee! Not sure if it was just refills or even just repeat customers, but the 76 Quik Fil was giving it away. After breakfast I did my usual reading of blogs & forums. During the afternoon a trailer moved in next door to me. I was hoping the area would remain clear for my friends from California, but they won't arrive for another couple of weeks. I can't really complain - the rule is no closer than 15', and they are much further than that away, although partially in the space that one of the SunRaiders sets up. Unfortunately, the new arrival parked so I have to go around them to get out of the section. I'm not sure why, but every year someone decides to set up in what is obviously the road into the place. Since they aren't actually defined, other than tire tracks, I guess there is nothing to stop them.
I took a photo of the new arrival which you can find at today's LakeshoreImages page, and when I went to load it into the laptop I discovered a photo I took of the moon over the mountains a day or two ago, so I used that as today's photo.
I also put together an email Christmas card. Nothing special, just a couple of photos, and links to some of the pages of places I stayed so far on the trip. Already got a bunch on non deliverable returns, so I guess my email list is just as bad as my snail mail list!
Dinner will be a couple of Chicken Empanadas along with some cottage cheese. For some reason, I bought a huge container, so I have to have some with every meal to use it up before it expires!
Everyone have a great Christmas eve!
Until Tomorrow -
