Sitting Around The Campfire |
On my way back from picking up coffee, I was offered a bunch of firewood from someone heading out of Quartzsite, so we have plenty for a fire tonight.
After coffee & breakfast, I sat outside and read, talked with Mel while Linda made a run for propane & gas, then headed over to Dome Rock to see how many RVs were there, both early arriving fiberglass trailers, and larger RVs that we need to chase away to make room for the close to 200 trailers expecting to arrive over the next two weeks! There is already a group of Casitas, a Scamp & an Oliver parked along the upper ridge, and the lower main area only has one 5th wheel parked in the general area we set up. I'll probably head over to the lower area tomorrow.
Last night I took a couple of campfire photos, the first here at Quartzsite; it has been too cold to sit out nights until now. Also took one of the Moon and Venus. There is took much ambient light here at La Posa West for good night star photos; I'll try for some at Dome Rock. More photos at today's LakeshoreImages page.
Dinner was a "T" bone steak, and potato salad.
Until Tomorrow -
